Aqua s-a infiintat in anul 1989 si este o trupa pop-dance formata din Lene Nystrom Rasted si Rene Dif ca solisti, Soren Rasted - keyboard, Claus Norreen la chitara si au ajuns in topul clasamentului “UK Singles Chart” cu primele lor 3 piese, dar probabil este cunoscuta cel mai bine dupa piesa “Barbie Girl”. In anul 1997 au lansat albumul “Aquarium” iar in anul 2000 “Varsator” si au avut aproximativ 33 de milioane de albume vandute, succes ce a clasat formatia ca fiind cea mai buna trupa daneza.
